Born in November, 1980, Sebastian grew up in Siegen, NRW, Germany.

While the professional career took him towards international business administration (in other words: financial performance consulting), Sebastian’s heart has been and keeps beating for art and design/ interior design.

However, since early childhood, Sebastian’s interest lies rather in the different craft techniques and possibilities and exploring them respectively in relation to needs of modern living, than aiming at perfection of A specific crafts/ art competency.

Around the age of 5 or 6, Sebastian started taking apart and reassembling common electronic devices and building simple plug powered lamps, as well as playing around with his father’s electric DIY tools. Throughout childhood and school he kept exploring various materials and techniques. Eventually, his heart beats for what he calls “functional art” and basically everything that is powered by electricity. Functional art – this is, furniture and interior design items and projects focusing unique solutions for unique purposes. Often in relation to the passion of smart solutions and lightning.

Sebastian tends to wrap, sometimes almost “hide”, messages and deep meaning in mostly all of works.

Though – or maybe because – Sebastian is working a typical white collar job in every days’ life, his spare time is dedicated to a large degree to crafts and art, often making him spend the nights working on projects.
