The challenge:

A modern though antique design accent was sought for a loft-style living room. The solution in question had to not only fit in and be an eye cathcer, but also provide for storage room and presentation of the house bar.

The solution:

Two antique, metal, medicinal cupboards/ closets built the basis for an eventually rustic though high-class modern chic. The closets were taken completely apart, brittle isolation was removed, old locks with missing keys were replaced with original, authentic parts and eventually, the closets were recolored by a professional painter’s shop. Equipped with original glass shelf boards, the two closets, one with glass front, the closets are a center piece of the lounge room they now embellish.
